Tomorrow’s Euromillions Lottery Jackpot Is R976 Million
Did you see that video of Donald Trump’s new private jet? It cost him $100 million. Check it out here. I’ll be buying one if I win tomorrow’s Euromillions lottery which is sporting a €101,000,000 jackpot. You might also be able to buy one if you win. But you need to get a ticket first. I just bought five tickets. These are my numbers:
If I win, I promise to buy this $2 Million island in New York and I will give it to one of you out there. No lie!
If you’re not buying a few tickets for the big draws (and these are BIG), then you’ve kind of missed the whole point of being able to live the holiday. Just like what is suggested in all books about success (including the likes of “The Secret” and variations thereof), if you’re not able to visualise the success you wish to achieve, then you probably won’t get there. Being able to dream is the basis of all of these formulas – it unlocks the potential. Dropping a few bucks on lottery tickets is as basic as that formula gets.
Go to 2oceansvibe Lottos and buy your tickets online, safely and securely.

India’s Executions On Hold Because Last Living Hangman Has Broken Arm
15 June
Since India gained its independence in 1947, at least 50 convicts have been put to death, but only one person has been executed since 1995.
Executions aren’t really common place in India, even though some 345 people were reported to be on death row in 2008.
Execution was reserved for the “rarest of rare cases” because many convicted inmates are often successful with their mercy petitions.
In some instances prison officials even help the prisoners with their petitions, explains KV Reddy, president of the All-India Prison Officers Association, who coincidentally opposes capital punishment:
At times, we also help the person draft the petition. Not this time though.
Normally, everybody sympathizes with a person who has spent a number of years in prison.
For the first time in a long time, India’s president has unexpectedly rejected a petition from condemned prisoner Mahendra Nath Das.
Somehow luck is still on his side, because Mammu Singh, the last known person eligible for the job in his province passed away in May at the age of 87.
The only other known living hangman currently has a broken arm and isn’t accepting new business.
Indian family tradition sometimes dictates that sons follow in their father’s footsteps and take over the family business, whatever it may be.
This prompted Mammu Singh’s eldest son, Pawan Kumar, to enter the family business 10 days after his father’s death in May and he applied for government certification as a hangman.
I just want to continue the family legacy. The process of being granted the job takes its time too, because not just anybody can approved as a hangman in India, I’ll have you know.
I’m the fourth generation. You don’t see many volunteers coming forward. I’m serving my country.
In the meantime, Das remains on death row awaiting his fate.

Home Affairs: Just Bring Us Your Dead Parents And We’ll Give You Your ID
8 June 2011
Democratic Alliance Limpopo leader Desiree van der Walt said yesterday:
As a result of this absurd insistence from officials; Mama Paulinah has never voted since the dawn of democracy, she is unable to receive her old age grant and stays in a shack when all her neighbours have RDP houses.Ragatji, whose parents have been dead for decades, lives in Ga-Makgoba, near Polokwane. She looks after her four grandchildren, two of whom are orphans.
Van der Walt continued, saying:
To put it in context, she has been denied all the rights and benefits which accrue to all of us as South African citizens.Home Affairs spokesman, Ronnie Mamoepa, said that he knew nothing of the incident, but that it would be “despicable and unimaginable” to expect a woman of 70 to produce her dead parents in order to receive an ID.
The department will have to investigate and ensure that this woman’s dignity is reinstalled as soon as possible. Thanks Ronnie, it’s good to know that, along with all the other great powers held by Home Affairs, it can now also issue people with their dignity.

Pay To Watch Siberian Tigers Hunt Live Animals Of Your Choice
8 June 2011
The park, which was intended to be a sanctuary and breeding center, has become a stop for many excited tourists. Choosing from a menu, patrons now have the opportunity to watch the tigers being fed their choice item.
If the food item of choice is a large one, like a cow for instance, then the visitors get to view the scene from what the park calls the “Number One Adventure Bus”.
If the item is smaller, like a chicken, the spectacle is viewed from within a section of the park’s perimeter buildings. But, if you stock up on chickens, they’ll use a bakkie and dispense the poor chickens to the tigers like chips to hungry seagulls.
In January, a bus driver was killed, after being dragged off by one of the park’s tigers during an attempt to check the bus’s engine; as one does in a tiger sanctuary.
Reactions have naturally been varied. Some find it a novel effort to protect the endangered tigers (there remain approximately 20 in the wild in China), and others question whether the Harbin Siberian Tiger Park is making a spectacle out of conservation.
You’re in for about R50 a chicken, R600 a sheep and about R2 000 for a cow.

YOU were really hurt? Shame.
Jeez lady, imagine how Ryan’s wife and the rest of his family must feel. Such extreme egocentricity is simply astounding.

Whites Never Voted For The ANC: Malema
6 June 2011
These were his actual words:
I never drove them away. They have never voted for us.Malema made his comments during the KwaZulu-Natal ANC Youth League (ANCYL) provincial general congress at the Durban City Hall.
They never voted for Mandela in 1994 and they never voted for Thabo Mbeki.
ANC secretary general, Gwede Mantashe, conceded soon after the May 18 local government elections that there may well have been white people who didn’t vote for the ANC due to Malema’s comments which “appeared racist”.
Mantashe said that:
Comments that are a departure from ANC policy, do not do good for the ANC.Malema then made a statement that, on the surface seems pretty stupid and patronising, but if you think about it, it’s a little bit scary. He said:
South Africa belongs to both blacks and whites. We freed them and we will continue protecting them.Who are they protecting whites from exactly? In other words: If whites weren’t being protected by the ANC, who would they be in danger from? Do you see where I’m going with this?
