Nonhle Thema is Drama Queen of the Year

The former Channel O and Vuzu presenter, and daughter of veteran television actress Cynthia Shange, went off the rails earlier this year, even prompting SABC1's Minnie Dlamini to sue her for defamation of character.

Thema had called Dlamini a "young hoe and drunk".

The Feather Awards - similar to the US's Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Awards - and themed Glam.R.Us this year, were held at Melrose Arch, in northern Johannesburg.

But Thema was upstaged by the flashy Kenny "Sushi King" Kunene, who walked away with the Fag Hag award, and also took home another gong for Best Couple with his BFF Gayton McKenzie.[Timeslive]
