Patrice Motsepe is apparently SA’s Richest Man and is worth R22.99 Billion and is followed by Lakshmi Mittal with R20.87 Billion. I will not depress myself further… check out the Sunday Times site for the rest of the list. Apparently there is only one woman in the Top 100. Tjo
Instead I will move along…So the Sunday Papers are reporting that Tina and Prosper have broken up, Prosper accuses her of finishing a bottle of whisky in a day and that she even has pink lips from all the drinking… *sigh*.. can they both just take a break from the papers. It’s not doing them any favours.
I can bet that Prosper’s next girlfriend will be a known face.. I wonder what’s the story there. Maybe he’s gifted? *Yawn*
I laughed when I found out that Kenny Kunene has decided to move his reality show from SABC 1 to eTV. Laughed because as much as I understand that it is guaranteed to bring in viewers, had SABC1 forgotten who their audience is? They are a youth channel and I don’t know what their youth could’ve possibly identified with from Kenny’s show, I think it is better suited to eTV. SABC 1 would’ve done a better job bringing us the YFM Twins’ reality show than Kenny’s “So What”.
October is going to be a crazy month for SA Television, good things are coming and I’m very optimistic about it all. I heard RGB started auditioning for a female presenter last week so it will be interesting to see who gets picked. I hope they will also remind themselves what it is the show is supposed to be, I understand it’s easy to get lost…
Anyway, please feel free to chat about any news that caught your attention this past weekend.
Am I the only one who’s not feeling this “rugby world cup” excitement?
