George Michael's new boyfriend has denied reports that the singer is near death after being hospitalised for pneumonia.
The 48-year-old star was placed in intensive care at Vienna's AKH General Hospital last week after his condition deteriorated just hours before he was set to perform.
Speaking to Britain's Daily Star, Lebanese-born Fadi Fawaz, who has been described as Michael's new lover, rejected speculation that the performer had taken a turn for the worst. [Mambaonline]
