For the past few days, the internet has been buzzing about Jay-Z’s ‘Occupy All Streets’ t-shirt. At first, when fellow hip hop mogul Russell Simmons tweeted a backstage photo of Hov wearing it at a concert, no one made too big of a fuss.
But when Rocawear planned on selling the tees and not donating any of the proceeds to Occupy Wall Street, the mood quickly changed and the backlash began.
Maybe that explains why the tee is no longer available on the brand’s website. In fact, there’s no mention of it anywhere on the e-commerce site and the only place it can be found is in the Google cache. [Animalnewyork]
