Zizi Kodwa sues police for R5m

Kodwa is also gunning for the two officers who arrested him for suspected drunk driving along Sturdee Avenue in Rosebank, Johannesburg, at about 2am on Friday.
Kodwa, who had denied he was drunk, arrived at the Rosebank police station yesterday in the company of a friend requesting to see the station commander.
They were later joined by senior partner of Madlanga and Partners Inc, Gugulethu Oscar Madlanga. They served the commander with a letter of demand for the urgent release of his blood sample results within seven days.
The letter reads: "Your actions against our client ... are not only unlawful, they are also injurious to our client's good name and reputation. If the results are not released, that can entrench the belief of our client that the policemen in question had malicious intentions. [Sowetan]
